Frequently Asked Questions
01 | When should I book my newborn photography shoot?
The general rule is to book your newborn session when you are reaching the end of your second trimester. This gives us plenty of time to plan for your new arrival and schedule your session, and it’s one less thing to organise in the later stages of pregnancy.
02 | What happens if we need to reschedule?
Kids and parents fall ill, and unexpected events occasionally happen. If you need to reschedule, please let me know ASAP.
03 | What do we wear at our portrait photography session?
I’ve got you covered; we’ll chat about outfit ideas at your planning appointment, as choices can vary depending on your shoot location. But as a general rule, avoid bold patterns and large logos and try to choose outfits with a similar colour pallet for you and your family.
04 | What happens if it’s forecast to rain on they day?
We’ll find an alternate date if we need to reschedule because of bad weather. Cloudy overcast days aren’t a problem, but we’ll want to avoid heavy downpours or uncomfortable hot weather.
