Earlier this year I had another great road tip for a newborn shoot. This time traveling to beautiful Suffolk to meet little Oscar. So I could carry out the photo session and viewing in one trip I booked a local hotel so I could edit the images in the evening and present them to mum and dad the next day before I drove home. Super speedy turnaround :)
I managed to get lost driving from the hotel to their home, derailed by a oneway system and making the assumption that a small country road would eventually pop out somewhere near where I was supposed to be – haha incorrect! But by getting lost in the Suffolk countryside I discovered a gorgeous spot near a cornfield that later that day would be ideal for a sunset shoot.
I still managed to arrive on time after getting un-lost and we had a really great shoot. I don’t normally suggest outdoor shoots away from the home for newborns (it being freezing cold England and all :) but with a great location in mind and it being a warm summers day I suggested it. Mum and Dad loved the idea, hurrah, So later that day we took the shoot outdoors for some fab late afternoon outdoor photos.
A selection from the session are below:
The cornfield location I “accidentally” discovered while driving to the session
The view from the front of the hotel once shooting for the day was done – Such beautiful scenery around Suffolk I’ll have to comeback with the family for a longer explore!
